New post

Hey all! Dad's home... although he's still really sore and tender. He can't do much really. Just stays at home all day. Poor guy. Well, I'm putting up more photos for ya all. Just a few from Frequency, taken off my phone. And of Jane's baptismal. Shame shes going back to Ireland sometimes next week! Shes a back packer but hopefully she'll come back and study some day... Well thats what she said she wanted to do anyways.
Have a good one guys. Ciao.

Frequency on Fri night.

I love donuts... hehe it was the "eat a donut hanging from a string without your hands" game. It was so much fun. I won... I don't think thats a surprise to many. Should that be classed as an achievement or an embarrissing moment?

Take a swig of coke when you hear the words "Spirit" sung and eat a marshmallow if you hear "planet". Turn the song "Shake this Planet" on from Planet Shakers and your mouth will be full within minutes. Theres a lot of repetitive words in that song.

Go Frequency

I really miss my Dad. But I don't want to talk about that. Instead I'll just post a pic of the first official youth meeting for Frequency. We had a great time on Friday night in our new hall. We love the location, just off Albany Hwy on 13 Leonard Street - next to the big Anglican Cathedral. Anyways, I'm off now. Goind to visit Dad in the hospital.

A nice drive

Hey... just making a random post. I really should go to bed, cos I've just come down with a cold today. Its not a really bad one, but like any sickness, it makes you more tired than usual. But I always have this weakness, that when I go to turn the computer off at night I never turn it off straight away... instead I sit down in front of it for an hour or so. I blame the internet.

So this past Sunday a few of us went for a drive after church. We just couldn't refuse the sunshine. It was such a beautiful day! I don't think that we'll be having many of those in the future. What with winter coming and all. Anways, we ended up taking a lonfg drive to Canning Dam. It was really nice there... Apart from the killer ants! I wore thongs too... which was a bad idea considering the fact that we were walking through the bush... and ants love to sink their spincers into bare flesh.

We found a nice little spot where we all sat down and chatted for awhile. Well a few of us chatted... I on the otherhand threw off my thongs and started to climb. After growing up in Roleystone where theres heaps of trees and bush, I couldn't pass up the chance to go climbing again. So I've got a few photos. Now that I have a heaps better phone with a 2 megapixel cam, I've bin taking more photos. I would really love a normal digital camera though... That would be nice for uni projects. Anyways, have a good night all.

Lots of Bumping

Hey! Was just sitting here thinking of an alright sounding name for my post, when this one came into mind. But its so true! Let me explain... My parents came back yesterday from the Eastern States, as they went to an AOG conference over there. While they were there, the Planet Shakers band led the worship on the Tuesday night. Mum and Dad thought they did a great job (they always do). After the meeting had ended, my parents and my Pop (who also went to the conference) went out to have dinner in the cafe strip on the Goldcoast. So did most of the crowd coming from the conference, they all just filtered out amongst the cafes. Mum said that she bumped into plenty of ppl she knew. Anyway, they were waiting for their dinner when Henry Sealy (the lead singer of Planet Shakers) just went walking down the cafe strip by himself and started chatting with some ppl at a table who called out to him. Mum and Dad recognised him straight away and they approached him and started chatting away. He walked back over to their table and they all talked for over 15 minutes. Henry remembered Pop, just by sight, so that got them all talking. I was at music practice when Di, Ryan and myself recieved a msg from Mum, including a photo of Henry. We were sooooo jealous. It was pretty cool but.

Anyways, so Mum and Dad have a great time over there. They arrived back home at 3.30 on Monday so I left uni early to welcome them back home with me Grandma. I'm glad I did cos Marcia Higns and Dicko off Australian Idol took the same flight as my parents. I quickly went up to them and got a photo. They were SO nice. The really hugged me and cuddled up for a photo. That one didn't work so they took another. It was just really pleasant tho, they didn't snob me off or anything. So that was a funny and exciting experience. lol, Mum was standing there saying "Oh Alyce your so embarrassing! Look at her! Shes a good singer you know!" lol... she just had to add that one in.

So thats my "lots of Bumping" explanation. I've added some photos with this post. Yes, I have evidence! Theres also a pic of a cute little 3 week old Tiger. Mum and Dad went to Dreamworld... twice. They loved it so much. Mum would've taken the Tiger home if she was allowed to. I was a little jealous when I saw that pic too...
