To keep you amused.

I just posted a few pics of the morning before my graduation... Thought I might as well as keep you amused... I think I may go and clean my room and then the bathroom sink... Then maybe I'll consider going down to central tafe and collecting my portfolio. I got 1st round of offers :-) But who would go to tafe instead of uni? Not me... Anyways... Ciao for now!

An explanation is in order...

Wow, I haven't updated in awhile... Well I have an excuse! I went down to Busselton with church friends for a week so... I was unable to reach a computer in that time! Not that I wanted to use one anyway. Who would wanna update when on a holiday? Anyways, today I basically applied for my university course. Quite a lot of fun, getting my time table, getting a student e-mail account, learning things about the university, etc etc.
I can't believe that schoolies start up this week and I don't start at university until February 27th! A whole month to wait... I'm kinda looking forward to it but not at the same time. How many cuckoo people will I meet? What if I don't make friends? What if I totally don't know where I'm going and end up in an accounting room instead of my art room? What if, what if, what if! Arrrg! That could drive me crazy! Its like I'm starting school all over again... In some ways, it doesn't seem fair. To go from being the oldest and coolest at school, to a lil first year doesn't sound appealing. I hear they make fun of first years! Eeeek! I wonder how I'll cope with being uncool.... lol.
Anways, I have no pictures for ya. Well I do, but from ages ago. Can't be bothered posting em. I didn't bring Dads digital camera down south cos I didn't like the thought of breaking it and having to pay for the damage. I bought a disposable camera though! So I'll have to get them developed and scanned and then posted. So much to do! lol

Spotless, sparkling and relaxed.

Finally! A totally relaxing day! For some strange reason, I felt totally relaxed and had a great time whilst cleaning my room and some of the house. Strange, I know. We had some real estate ppl coming over, so mum said that we should clean the house. I started with the study, cleaning, putting things away, dusting, yada yada yada. Then I did odd little jobs round the house and then started on my room. And its all very boring for you all to be reading this... But I had an awesome time listening to "Silly songs with Larry!". Hehehe... You know the Veggie Tales? Well, a whole heap of bands have taken the songs and recorded them, rock style. So awesome... I just sang along with em the whole time. My favourites are "I love my Lips", "Everybodies got a Waterbuffalow" and "Pirates who don't do anything." hehe so funny.
Also chose Diana's new bedspread today... Her rooms getting renovated, so we chose the colour to her bedspread and it was all very exciting. I love it, cause its arty and fun. Hmmmm well tomorrow is Tuesday and then the next day is Planet Shakers! Can't wait! It should be really good. Its their tenth aniversary. The whole youth is car-pooling... So I don't think I"ll be spending any money on fuel! hehehe... Not that i would this week anyway... SHHHH to all those who know!
Anyways, I'm gonna go... And prolly post some pics of Lauren's party the other night. It was great catching up with everyone from school... Some you chatted to, some you didn't. But thats ok. I had a great time anyway! Hope ya'll have a good week. Cos I know that I will!

Lauren and I at her party on Saturday night. It was at the Cannington Greyhounds... It wasn't bad. My school buddies just sat around and chatted. plenty of nibblies and Maison... hehehe. Go the Maison! Yes I'm a good girl, I don't drink. Lauren didn't drink anything either.  Posted by Picasa

Suburban Sonnet in the 21st Century.

A sigh is released as she places a card within the girls hand.
Beside her two children chatter, then scream and fight.
She hushes them. A plastic bag is filled and lifted,
the small hands incapable of lifting such weight.
As she rushes to the child too late, the bags fallen and
the contents spilt on the ground. A wave of frustration
overpowers her. Her youth and independence spilt with
childrens clothes and baby food as she picks up the bag.
Her feet ached. She once worked in retail, but married.
The children played on the rails, hanging off and swinging
dangerously. When one falls they cry and need attention.
She comforts them and wipes their clothes down with
aging hands as she leads them out of the store.

RollinG On WeT GrasS

My hands are stinging... You know how they do when you've rolled on wet grass and then you get all itchy? Well, I just watered the plants and picked up all the berries that have fallen off our tree outside... Far out that was an annoying job. Cause I know that many more will drop during the night and I'll have to do the job over again the next day. Ah well, that's life I guess. You do a job one day, then it comes undone and you'll have to do it all over again.
Anyways, today has been the first day that I haven't really done anything major. Sure, I had to go out to run some errands, such as church stuff (oh and by the way, as I was running my errands, I walked passed Cotton On in Carousel and they have a store wide clearance! I bought I top for $5!! Shibbeeee!) ... and then I came back home to create a new front page of the church newsletter... Yes, a very exciting day. lol... Mmmm but it was nice. I needed a break.
I'm going to the museum and art galleries tomorrow! Can't wait... I think I'll go next week as well, cos I know I won't be able to see all of em in one day. I'm going with Paul, so that should be good. He'll prolly be bored, walking around with me being absolutely absorbed in looking at all the art. hehe... Its just good to have someone else to come and walk around with you.
Yesss... I think I may post some pics now. Thats the only reason why everyone comes to look at my blog... OH well. Oh and another thing. Robert wants to delete his blog, but if we all protest, hopefully he won't! So go on, click onto his site and hound his shoutbox! hehehe...
