In my first unit we had to find & choose 4 words and given a colour. One of them was 'vigil' which means: A devotional watch (especially on the eve of a religious festival). So from that I thought of religious people and the love of God. I then thought of the commandment "love thy neighbour"... That is why you are staring at a picture of people embracing... These drawings are only done quickly, because they are all being worked up and added to to create one whole composition. The unit is about adapting and growing ideas. So you have to produce art at a fast rate.
