On the Road again...

Its 9:30 now, and I am finally home and out of the car... What happened was, that I was rudely interrupted and awakened out sleeping land by my dad this morning. I dunno what time it was. He was just asking whether I'd pick him up from "Ultra Tune" a car fixing place, after he'd dropped Ryan's car off to get fixed (and yes, Ryan's car needs fixing yet again!). He said it was on the south side of Kenwick, then he said it was on our side4, and then I think it was on the south side again??? I dunno... Anyway, so after a few minutes after dad left, I got in my car and drove off, down William St and crossing Albany highway going onto the Kenwick Link. But was there an "Ultra Tune"? Nooooo... So I turned around and went down Albany Highway... There was nothing there! And then I went down some backstreets, to try and get on to the main road and head down Kenwick link, but it was a no-thru roud. Arrrg... I was getting a little distressed cos I didn't want dad to be waiting there long.
So I was driving along some car parks along Albany highway when mum called my mobile
"Are you there yet honey?"
"Noo... Mum I don't know where I'm going! Or where it is!" I say in a child-like voice until the frustration gets too much and I start to sob.
"Ok well .... (this was where I dropped the phone in my lap to change gears. Unlike any of my friends, I try not to be on the phone when I'm driving!) ... and then just go to Bunnings."
"What? Why? Bunnings isn't Ultra Tune... Mum I don't know where it is..."
"Well, just go to the Bunnings car park and dad will be waiting there."
"What? How does he know that? Did you call him?"
"No, I'm going to call him now." Mum says. And then she said goodbye and hung up.
Well, after the phone call I turned onto Albany Highway, which was very busy. I went down the Kenwick link, pulled into Bunnings car park, and crawled along until I saw dad. I wanted him to drive home, but he said no... I guess he just wanted to check out my marvelous driving skills. He hadn't been driving in the car with me since I was on my L's, so he was checkin up on me. Well, I gotta say that Dad didn't correct any of my driving skills at all! We sat there, listening to 94.5 blarring out of the radio, with me driving smoothly and nicely. hehehe... Dad's too tall for my car, his head nearly touches the roof! I love my daddy...
After I parked the car at home, Diana and mum came out and Di asked for a lift to school (I wasn't going to go to school, cos all I have is study periods today... AND I can finally get down to some painting! Yay... My suitcase looks WIKID!) So she hopped in and I drove her there... Uh... So much driving in one morning! I'd only just woken up to aye... uh well. Atleast there were no accidents this morning, unlike Sunday! Pfffffft! They know who they are! Getting my upset and scared... Pulling out on me, overtaking in a double white lined road... That lady speeding over the railway when I just pulled out of the stop sign, screeching to a hault a metre away from my car as I drove away with an 8 and 9 year old in my back seat. 3 scares in one day... No wonder I was upset when we got back to my house that night. Neways, on a happier note, if anyone else speeds or does something stupid in their car again, I GET A FREE COKE! So don't try anything... I'm watching you.............

Maggie always rolls onto his back and lets my scratch his tummy. Yes, magpies do that! Oh this morning was so cute, I opened the door of my sunroom, and there was maggie and pie, lying on their sides, playing together and holding each others legs with theirs. SO CUTE! And Gee was stading over them, tapping them as well... You should see them, they run around the backyard all day and when their tired, they hop up into their cages themselves and go to sleep...
