Chosen

I know its my second post, but I forgot to mention it in my last post. Guess what? My triptych composition was chosen to tour WA and go on exhibit in the WA art gallery!!!! Awesome aye?! I thought my suitcase would be chosen... but instead it was my triptych! (A triptych is a composition consisting of 3 paintings put together). Its pretty amazing, a real honour. It'll look heaps cool in my resume. I was blown away.... They want my work... MY paintings to be in the exhibit??? lil ol' me! So awesome... Only very few are chosen from each school. Last year Mr Taylor entered 5 paintings from students, and NONE of them were accepted. So... yes it’s a great achievement!
     I found out yesterday, when I was chatting to Rima whilst curled up in bed... My mobile rang, and it was Diana talking to me excitedly on the phone. And she told me it was chosen! AWESOME! *sighs with happiness* And guess what? I won't see it until 2007... Thats how long it'll exhibit around Western Australia... isn't that rad? Well. I can't say that the painting is mine anymore... As its sold. The school bought it so they'll have to wait till 2007 to hang it up in the Performing Arts Centre. Anyways, I just thought I'd post that, cos I was pretty excited!!!
