Looking back over the year...

Looking back now at 2005... it all seems like such a blur! It went by like a flash of lightning, leaving me no time to rest and no time to breathe. I keep thinking of the things that I should have done and should have said... But then I keep on thinking of the things to come... and how blessed I am to be living the way I do! Just to be given the opportunity to go to university when kids in 3rd world countries have to work instead of having an education. So, I say that next time you feel like you've hit rock bottom, just take a look around yourself. You are much better off than others. And this year, I want to by humble. I want to have a better relationship with God. I want to hang out more with my grandparents, I want to spend more time on my education. Wow, I've said a lot of 'wants'... But I guess its these 'wants' that will make me a better person.
     Ok! After that good ol' rant, I'm gonna now post some pics... These are from New Years Eve. We had a bbq at my place, well, I should say next door. We had a swim in Joy's pool (even though she wasn't home) and then ate... We then mucked around and had a chat, and then went in to watch a movie. Afterwards we sat around and waited for midnight. We went outside to see the spectacular display of fireworks as the hour and minute hand struck 12 o'clock. Afterwards we all went our separate ways.
     Yesterday, which was a public free day, the church had a picnic on the South Foreshore. T'was very nice getting together and hanging out. The volleyball game between the Koreans was fun... a little competitive at times... I can't help it if I'm competitive! Neways... I may post some pics of that or I may not... See how I feel.
