"I'm lookin forward to it!"

I'm so excited! I can't wait aye! Ok, ok, I'll explain it. Joy and I have talked about traveling around the world to differently places in Europe and other regions. I'd said that we'd do it after I finish uni. I've even started saving up for it aye. Anyways, last night i was sitting at the computer, can't remember what I was doing, anyway, mum came up and started talking to me. Then all of a sudden mum said
"Oh, and your going to Brisbane with Joy next year, to the Gold Coast." I was like "What???" Then mum explained, saying that Joy wanted to go and visit some family over east next year, and then go to the Gold Coast. Joy thought that she'd have to go alone, but then mum said that I could go along with her. Cause mum and dad really care for Joy, shes always coming round for dinner. It's like having another sister. So they didn't want to her to go alone, saying it would be safe if someone went with her that could drive and responsible, etc. And also, its more fun having someone to enjoy a holiday with! So, it looks like I'm going with her next year! I'm not complaining... Its gonna be awesome! So last night, Joy came round for dinner (again, lol) and we chatted excitedly about it.
     We'll go to Melbourne first to see her relatives, and then we'd catch another plane and land in Brisbane, then drive up to the Goldcoast. We'll stay in a little unit kinda place, where I had stayed with my family 2 years before. Its a nice place... Dad had said last night that he didn't want me to drive around there though, cos the roads are extremely dangerous. And believe in me, I know they are! The roads are horrendous over there... I remember how they were so windy and everything. I'll only drive if there is an emergency. There probably won't be anyway. We'll go to all the theme parks, Movie World, Dream World (Dream Worlds the BEST), Sea World, Wet'n'Wild, Ripleys Believe it or Not and more! The night life is so awesome there as well... Everythings open at there aye! I'll be 18 too and more 'responsible'.
     Whats awesome but, is what mum had said to dad.
"Seeing as we're buying Diana a trumpet (which will be EXTREMELY expensive!), we'll pay for her airfares. That seems fair, doesn't it?" I nearly hit the roof with excitment... Oh so cool. But I'll have to pay for everything else. Like food (Joy and I'll split the costs), accomodation, spending money, clothes money (lol, Diana said she'd give me some money to buy her a whole new outfit), money to get into all the theme parks... Oh and everything else. I'll be working all Summer I think... Oh well, it'll all be worth it. I've all ready thought about some of the things that I need to take... I need a camera (dad said he didn't want me to take his, which is understandable, as he needs it for work)... But I don't think I'll take many clothes with me, I"ll just buy them there! Theres all those clothes factories there too... all discounted! Theres Nike, Billabong and heaps of others. I went to a few of em last time I went. But this time, this time I'm older and I'll remember it more.
     Just think, two girls going over east... How much FUN we'll have. Oooooooh... I just want to press the fast forward button so the time will wizz to July... We invited Di to go, but she'll be doing her TEE... Too bad aye. It woulda bin cool if she went. After all of this, I'm STILL planning on going overseas. I really wanna get out, see the world. Leave it behind and stay away for months and months. It'll be thrilling. Thrilling I tell you! Anyways, thats my long spiel for tonight. I couldn't keep it in hehe. Cya all later!
