Mmmmmmm Cookies.......
I am kinda procrastinating right now... I'm home, all alone, with no one here to comfort me and take my mind off my trumpet ice cream cravings.... Everyones out, meaning Mum, Dad, Luke, Joy, Geoffe, Michael, Trav, Ryan, Paul, Fiona, Matt... Gone to that conference thing in the convention centre. Its called 'Renewing your Passion for Christ' and Pastor David Wilkerson and his son Gary are coming to preach. Its a once in a life time thing hey. Pastor Dave started up the first teen challenge, and he preaches in a well known church in New York. Pastor D is only going round to specific cities where God has told him to go - which are only Melbourne and Perth in Australia... And other places across the globe. But to come to Perth and not Sydney??? FanTASTIC!
But alas... I am here alone, on the computer... With my studying papers calling to me from my bedroom. I was spose to go today... Mum gave me a choice whether I wanted to go during the day or night, I said during the day. But mum came home last night and told me that I wasn't allowed to go at all! I was so annoyed...
"But mum, its a once in a life time thing!"
"TEE is a once in a life time thing as well, Alyce."
"God comes before TEE mum..." After I said that, she got annoyed. I can't help it if I prefer spending time with God then doing this FLIPPIN CRAP that you call STUDYING AND EXAMS! I HATE IT. I wanna SCREAM! Arrrrg...
So, hopefully I can go tonight... If I don't, I'm gonna rip something. Its weird, when I'm REALLY annoyed, I feel an urge to rip or break something... Right now, I want to rip my study papers up. Oh, how I'd love to rip them up. I will, prolly after the exams. I need them too much now. So... I think I may post some pics now. of my weekend.................. Hehe, theres a funny lil story attached to sum of em. Where, after Frequency had finished last Sat night, someone had said that it would be funny to buy $30 worth of cookies from Subway. Then someone said that we should go do it now, just to see the sales assistants reaction. Then all of a sudden, we all stood up, got our wallets out, everyone putting $2 into a cup and then walked to our cars. We had $30 exactly, and our destination was Subway. After we all pulled into Subway, we huddled together in the cold while Ryan talked to the camera which Travis decided to bring along and film the whole night.
We walked in together, my holding my camera and snapping pics of everything. Ryan walked upto the counter and said -
"Hey mate, could we please have $30 worth of cookies."
"What?"
"$30 worth of cookies."
"How much?"
"30 dollars..."
It was pretty funny... I couldn't stop laughing. Hehehe, poor guy, he had to put up with all these giggling teenagers...
"We want every last one... Even the crumbs!” We didn't end up getting $30 worth... Cos there weren't enough! They had a special - 'Buy 6 cookies for $3.50!' I think it was... or was it just 3 for $2? I dunno... We got $17.50 worth... And that was ALOT of cookies... We got back home to my place, sitting in Ryan's room, all munching on cookies.... Mmmmmmmmmmm the doeyness............. *droolz* So good.... Hehehe, then the next nite, after music practice, we went back to Subway. And there were STACKS of cookies there. I think they learnt their lesson! Always be prepared for the worst! hehehe...
