Good to be back?
My holiday is over. *Sigh* my holiday is over. It was pretty wierd stepping out of the car, stretching my legs and then huggin Fiona and finding out that England has been bombed. I was completely unaware of the bombings, which would show you how cut off from civilization we were down there. As I heard that I couldn't help thinking 'Is it really good to be back? I feel like hopping back into the car and driving back down there...' Cos the thing is, when you hear stuff like that happening, you start to live it yourselves.
Apart from hearing about that horrible peice of news, my coming back to the suburban life has been good. When I got home I put my clothes in the washing machine, read my mail (got my Smester 1 grades back. They weren't too bad aye.) and then got ready to go out again. Went to AK's to watch movies and hang out. Ryan drove Di, Trav and myself there. That's right, Ryan has finally gotten his license! Lets give three cheers for Ryan!
I then tried to wake up at 9 this morning, but didn't succeed. I then got up at quarter to 10 when Luke came down the drive way. I got ready quick-smart, slapt on some foundation, got my car keys and we went for a drive around Thornlie and then to the Perth Convention Centre. We got Macca's after that. Yay! I now have 3 hours left on my Log book. I'll get my license this week. Can't wait! And then after work tonight I'm going to Bec's for a girls night. So that should be packed with chocolate, coffee, movies and good ol' chatter.
Well, it seems that I have talked about everything except my holiday. It was beautiful, relaxing, fun, amazing... Can't think of any other words right now. I definately caught up with my sleep, thank goodness. I was running on a low for awhile there. I enjoyed spending time with my family (excluding Ryan, who had to work that week. Poor thing... I bet he enjoyed gettin his license but) and Luke, Joy'n Geoffe. The weather was great, really cold, but great. It rained a bit, but when the sun came out the sky was a brilliant blue. The Karri forrest was beautiful... magnificent tall trees looming over our heads. The last night we took a walk through the forrest. It was cold but we soon grew very warm as we walked at a brisk pace through the hilly track. When you turned out your torches and looked up you would gasp. The sky... I had never seen the stars shine that bright before. There was no moon... only the the milky way blinking back at us. It is definately something you have to see. You will never see a sky like that livin in the suburbs. You have to go out to the country.
On the Thursday no one would dare to say that it was our last day. We kinda hoped that if no one said it, then it wouldn't be true... That time would just go by quicker if we dared to speak those words. *sigh* but it happened, and now I'm back inside my house in jeans and a lond sleeved top... Feeling unusual without my scarf wrapped around my neck and my knee high socks on. Ahwell... now I just have to tackle this last term of school. Probably the most hectick and crucial time n my life. Am I ready to face it? I don't know... but I'm glad I'm now rested and semi-ready to face this term.
Well, I better be off now. I have to get ready for work... a three hour shift! Come on, what kinda shift is that people? Ohwell, I guess I need all that money I can get my hands on hey. Neways, thanks for ready my post and I'll put some pics up later hey... when I feel like it. Seeya later!
