19th of December...

was our Carols in the Park! It was awesome! We had it on the Sunday night at 7:30. There was a good turn out (around 300), to say that it was our first carols by candlelight ever. I mean, its a big thing for a lil baby church to put on some carols for the community. But totally worth it!

We had the men working an 18 hour day... they had to set up for church in the morning, and then when church ended they straight-away dismanteled the stage and set up for the carols. A lotta hard work was put into it! A few months practise was put into preparing the carols... the choir, the band... and good ol' Luke on the sound-desk!

It was good to see old freinds, but fun to hang round with my buddies... after the carols when all the people went home, us youthies went round supposedly picking up rubbish and helping pack away... but we ended up all muckin around on the play equipment on the oval! We then decided to go and have dinner at Maccas (ooooooh, I so needed that! I hadn't eaten since 12:00 that day!). A few of us went home after that but most of us stayed and hung out in Ryan's room till late... it was just an awesome night! A few of my friends didn't show, but thats ok! Cos the ones that did cum were real supportive. U guys rock!

Wait till next year, it'll be bigger and better... Can't wait. God is so good to give us this opportunity to witness to the community!
