Heyas! My friend has just followed me in da trend of da blogs... thats right! Hes a sheep... baa! lol, nuh just joshin ya Matt. Neways... tonight I had a concert on at da ECU Conservatorium. It was really cool, where I had to play da marimba (like a xylaphone, except 3x bigger!) and it woz really scary cos I have to play with 2 mallets in each hand!! Arrrg! And I also had to sing, which wasn't that scary as I do a lot of it. Andrew S acompanied me, which I'm greatful for! It was a jazz piece from Norah Jones Latest album 'Don't miss you at all' andAndrew's really a classical player, so playin jazz and gettin da right feel was a challenge for him. But as usual, he played perfectly well! Hes soooooooooo cool. Thankyou Andrew!!
Diana also performed as well, playin 2 trumpet pieces and bein accompanied by her trumpet teacher on da piano. Which also sounded fab! Mr McDonald rocks! Hes also my jazz instructor, so hes pretty cool. It was an experience and we loved it... I mean, u just HAVE to check out da percussion room! Its huge! Catch yas later!
